I link my own post here on this. Echoes a similar sentiment but more about getting people working for the benefits and actively giving back to the community to achieve it. Rather than just being given money and it being comfortable living I think it should push people back into work. Totally agree with the looking into fraud. I think we can go further and ensure not only the benefits reach the right people but as it acts as the “safety net” it still encourages work and an “all pulling together” mentality.
