As the primary concern is the removal of Islamic extremists, putting all illegal immigrants in holding camps, banning halal, banning the burqa and changing the mindset/conditioning of British police from that of a mix between religious enforcement officers and the Gestapo, to an organisation for fighting crime, might just see a lot of Muslims leaving of their own free will. That will be a lot cheaper than either keeping these people in hotels and on benefits and all the other aggravations of deportation such as where to send them and ‘civil-rights’ lawyers getting rich preventing it.

Review all that have claimed asylum, if they are not working and contributing, send them back.

I think we need to go further and follow the UAE example. Any immigrant who loses their job has 30 days to find a new job or leave. That way, it raises the cost to them of coming to the country, so they will only do so for a particular contract, or those that are highly skilled and would be beneficial to the country.
