I proposed abolishing stamp duty, business rates & council tax & replacing them with a 0.5% land value tax with the revenue going 1 third to the local council, 1 third to the county council & 1 third to the government, with exemptions/allowances for things like farmland & using the money raised to cut taxes on earned income & NI.
