A total ban on the teaching of British history and politics by biased eg Labour supporting persons

Example: BLM is still being promoted in schools - BLM is now discredited. In a recent PHSE project my grandson was asked to produce a BLM poster. Also teaching of history - teaching about slavery WITHOUT mentioning the activities of the West Africa Squadron of the British Navy and the ensuing Abolition of Slavery Act and the individuals who died during rescuing and freeing slaves (but no reparations demanded for THEIR successors). Also the Barbary Pirate raids off the coast of Cornwall and South Wales which resulted in mass abductions of indigenous people for removal to Africa. NONE of these appear to be recognised by school age children and young adults. (And some older adults!) Proper history and politics should be taught WITHOUT BIAS and teachers who promote cultural and political vias should be subject to disciplinary action or, in the case of repeat offending, the sack.

I get where you’re coming from but banning them would be a hard sell and result in all sorts of accusations. I’d like to have more balanced history curriculum. Maybe take a leaf out of Trumps book and bring in a well known face (if they were willing to advise and help set it. David Starkey?

Yes, put him in charge of education at some level even if we could only get him at top level in Ofsted.
