Ban the Burqa, it should be classed as muslim extremism it should not be allowed in public, it is not integrating into British society

It is oppression of women, a safety issue with people dressing in Burqa to evade detection (yes men do that i have seen it) and cover up abuse of women and girls. If people want to wear one in public they should go to a muslim country which facilitates and promotes it.

  • Europe:

  • France: Banned the wearing of face-covering headgear, including the burqa, in public spaces in 2011.

    • The Netherlands: Outlawed face coverings in public places, including schools, hospitals, and public transport.

    • Italy: Some localities have restrictions on face-covering attire.

Hi

I agree, in fact according to the Koran there is no requirement for women to cover their faces. Most Muslim countries do not enforce it. However where we have extremism like Afghanistan it is enforced. See the below link:

Quran-Islam.org - True Islam.

The question is how do we turn this into a policy. I would suggest it’s a women’s rights issue.
