My idea is an AI project designed to innovate and revolutionise the country, proprelling it forward at an extremely fast pace. Designed to make our technology and economy as optimised and efficient as possible whilst taking the workload off of many people, this project (which I’m nicknaming SAXON for the sake of this Policy/Post/Petition) will be the backbone for all AI operations across the country, many jobs that people can’t/won’t do could be automated relative to the size of the gap of employees (e.g for every 1 group of people that arent working or are missing, there will be 1 AI workforce/team for that job). This would be applicable for:
Translators for the NHS and other public services
Automated railways
street/road cleaning
lower level/less important software development jobs
To name a few.
The picks of companies to make this truly better than America’s STARGATE would be:
Deepseek (with intense moderation due to the whole China situation)
NVIDIA
Potentially OpenAI, but probably not
Xai/Tesla
This would be overseen by a UK based tech/AI firm as well as the UK Government and the various departments/services inside it.
Very barebones, needs some work, give me your thoughts.
I won’t go near Deepseek, I have seen enough online to know that we shouldn’t let China meddle in any kind of way with our country, importing junk let alone is enough.
I like the SAXON idea, I could see it get a slightly different name perhaps with us after all being Anglo-Saxons, ANGLOID…uhh…Sangloxon…anyways, we would definitely need to clean up the country first, but yes, an AI for the UK would be good, but we’d have to see how we integrate it, get some professionals and whatnot in.
I suppose since Deepseek is open source, we could just use stuff from the model without working with Deepseek themselves.
Im currently working on finetuning Deepseek to be a patriotic British AI, as a proof of concept. Using something like the Mergekit tool, I could also merge Deepseek’s model with something like Grok 1 or LLama.
I recall that Deepseek was based off another open source AI, wasn’t it? (Not attacking, only curious)
Oh you are working on something as we speak? Quite the busy body! I quite like the Grok model, but I don’t know what LLama is like, but I appreciate how Grok has progressed and also has grown in such a way that in some cases, it is able to give good results if you want to see both an argument and its counter points in what appears to be good common sense and understandable statements.
that’s my first attempt at finetuning it to be more British, the name was more of a joke incase it started spouting gibberish, you can find other models in the collections
