Holders of UK nationality plus at least one other should be made to choose between retaining solely their British Nationality, or losing it.
Nationality is not a flag of convenience.
Fully agree. Bar a few exceptions (Knights of Malta, Ireland, and maybe the Commonwealth Realms). Should also, consequently, merge British nationality and British (Overseas) nationality.
Just suggested this in another thread. Japan refuses dual citizenship and I’ve seen many foreign nationals in Japan choose their country of origin over a Japanese passport. Single citizenship would sort the patriots from the nonpatriots but this means nothing if uncontrolled migration is a policy (e.g. Japan)
