All public spending to be made publicly available. This would apply to all levels of government and be easily available, without request, from a dedicated website that is audited regularly for accuracy. Every single purchase should be listed. Including salaries.
Reponsibility (job titles) for approving the spending decisions must also be shown. If you work in a job funded by the tax payer, the tax payer has a right to know how their money is being spent.
No personal information would be needed, but we need to know details of where the money goes so it can be challenged. I believe this is essential to combat corruption.

Would it be categorised under vague âdefence spendingâ for military and secret service spending? Having exact details on what weapons and such are being built, which personnel are payed and so forth would be a disaster for security if it isnât executed probably.

Yes, some exceptions may be needed for security reasons. These would ve very few and still classified by spend type and the responsibility for approving the spend would be visible.

This should also be applied to the NHS where huge amounts of money are wasted. Who authorised funding for DEI jobs paying ÂŁ75000+ and why? Who monitors the costs of a patientâs treatment - no-one. There is no accountability in the NHS

You know i think this actually already is the case via the freedom of information laws we have in the UK.
For instance Lotus Eaters was able to prove weather experimentation in the UK by simply asking the met office for that information (the chemtrials)
That being said, the key word here is âFullâ transparency. I would recomend a specific website that is first, user friendly, and catagorises each civil service, that also presents the information for spending in each department of that civil service.
The information is already neatly compiled by accountants. Its not like it would be impossible.
The difficulty is keeping it from being oversaturated and convoluted. This, is the method that currently exists to prevent the public from Noticing things.

Agree, i think the big difference is getting the info without having to request itâŠ
Its our money, we should know where it goes.
Government tax take should be restricted to be within a ceiling percentage of overall GDP. It isnât their money and they should be restricted in their profligacy.
âBelt-tighteningâ should be shared.
