Mandatory Psychological deprogramming for all Muslim Asylum Seekers from Middle East, Africa and Asia

Anyone who arrives in the UK before they can be accepted to remain permanently in this country should have to comply with Mandatory comprehensive Psychological deprogramming.

Not to try and influence their religious beliefs but to assess their suitability for integration into the values and cultures of the British Isles, particularly in relation to their attitudes to honour based violence and their treatment of women in general and the women in their family group in particular, thereby significantly limiting the number of men who have a prehistoric attitude towards women and girls, who may cause issues to all women.

Absolutely, something along these lines to be in place after a 5-10 year period of closed borders and mass deportations. Also something like a British history & culture exam they should sit while also having their English language ability accessed.

The treatment of women from people of all foreign cultures to ours, our laws and culture must trump their religious/cultural beliefs and treatment of women or they cannot be apart of our society in Great Britain. Non negotiable.

Can you point to any examples of “deprogramming” processes and details of their results?

It sounds to me like a lengthy, resource-intensive process of questionable efficacy. Why do you believe the British taxpayer should bear the costs of such interventions?

I would suggest it is better to:

  1. properly evaluate applicants to identify and reject those likely to pose a threat, and
  2. operate a zero-tolerance policy for any and all criminal behaviour, ensuring transgressors are deported and banned from the country at the first instance.

Yeah I think this is a more realistic approach. We have freeedom of conscience in Britain, so rather than try to brainwash them out of their beliefs, we just shouldn’t allow people like this in in the first place.

Hi… I don’t have any statistics or examples, but I completely agree with your points also… really I’d just like to make sure that anyone who is allowed to remain in this country are law abiding people who share most of our cultural values i.e. respect for all others members of society, good work ethic (and I would also say we are not really doing a great job of encouraging this in our own young people), prepared to integrate and become a contributing member of their community rather than a further drain on our already overburdened state.

I think another approach to this would be to design a “loyalty and values” type questionnaire as part of the immigration process. All aspiring immigrants would be required to respond to the questions while hooked up to a polygraph. Questions such as, “would you be willing to stop boats filled with (insert people of their home nation)” or " would you be willing to press the button that nukes/ would you willingly fight for Britain against your former nation." Their answer, confirmed by the polygraph, would then determine their eligibility for immigration.

This would be particularly important for arrivals from the 3rd world and may help weed out those who have no loyalty or even love for the nation (outside of the economic benefits they would gain).

I particularly mentioned Asylum seekers rather than immigrants, as far as I’m concerned we need to pause all other forms of immigration with the exception of a very few highly skilled workers that we provably cannot cover by employing someone already here, and they should be only able to come as a single person, no hangers on, no exceptions.

There are things we should do as a developed nation, and offering shelter to vulnerable victims of war is definitely one of them, but we still need to protect the citizens that are already here.

We should make efforts to have a much more robust selection process, and mandatory actions for those who wish to remain permanently, such as learn the language, and basic contribution to the community, even if this is only working.

Personally I would prefer to reject their application altogether.
