Put ALL members of the judiciary under the spotlight

All those entering the legal profession and PARTICULARLY the judiciary - and the Supreme Court in particular to have their decisions thoroughly screened and scrutinised. There have been far too many instances of judges being lenient with rapists and paedophiles whilst clamping down on those with the “wrong opinions” like Lucy Connolly. There is HUGE disparity in the legal system. Lucy Connolly should NEVER have been imprisoned in the first place especially when REAL race-hate stirrers like Bob Rylan walk free. Those allowing grooming gangs and violent criminals early release need to be thoroughly investigated and relieved from their duties. JUDGES NEED TO BE JUDGED! Also individuals like STARMER’S friend Hermer whose position as attorney general is entirely different, should not be allowed to interfere in matters outside their remit… Nor should nepotism be encouraged
Political bias, when dealing with matters legal, particularly when done openly, needs to be completely outlawed.

So, I get your point here, but I do have a slight quibble with it. I do not think that the law should be applied blindly and in a vacuum, no just society ever does that (have you ever heard the phrase “Lawful Stupid”?). However, the law should not be whatever my feelings are on any particular day either. I think it is better to say that the law should be interpreted and applied by those steeped in the traditions in which the law was made and who believe in the same.

As for everything else, IMO the solution is abolishing the Supreme Court and returning those powers to the Lords, and having Parliament use its powers to remove judges who make obviously wrong and biased decisions, using it’s power as the ultimate court and authority of the land to enforce justice.

Spot on. It’s part of what needs to be un done (does that exist?) to return authority to parliament. The Sentencing Council has no need to exist as a body outside of parliament, and abolishing that should also be considered.
