We seen Miners having convictions cleared and rightly so. As a child of a miner at the time, myself and my siblings endured terrible times. Extreme poverty, living off food parcels from neighbours, bullied at school. Some also witnessed alcohol abuse in the home and violence. I am one of those who did. The impacts on us as children has never been addressed and i believe it should be.
